“An amazing week full of new experiences, learning and fun.“
Jakob
“I learnt so much, not just at school, but by talking to our host families and the people I met there. I hardly spoke any German, which was great. Going to York was an unforgettable experience and I would love to go there again one day.”

“We didn’t have any problems speaking English or understanding the local guides who showed us around. I especially loved the time I spent with my host family and now I feel like I have English „grandparents“. I already miss the evenings I spent chatting to them over tea and cake. They were lovely and I hope I’ll see them again one day! During the week, I made friends with classmates I don’t normally spend time with at school and I also became closer to my friends because of the time we spent exploring York and shopping together. Such a great week!”

“It was an amazing week full of learning, fun and lots of great food. My friends and I so enjoyed staying with our host mum because she was really nice to us and cooked really well. The best thing was our trip to the York City FC stadium.”
Tobias
“In my opinion, there was always plenty of free time to explore places on our own, which I loved. My favourite moment was having a picnic by the river, listening to music and talking with friends while watching the sunset.”
Edith
“The language week was a great opportunity to improve my language skills while discovering British culture and meeting new people.”
Florian
“The trip to York was such an amazing experience. I loved the city and the surrounding area. York has a lot of small independent shops where you can buy cute things. Or you can just walk around the beautiful streets and listen to the street musicians.”
Leonie
“Robin Hood’s Bay was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The scenery, the sea and just the whole atmosphere there was breathtaking.”
Nina
“The weather was absolutely gorgeous, the sunshine made it all the more enjoyable. York itself is full of beautiful old buildings and breathtaking streets. And Robin Hood’s Bay was just perfect with its stunning sea views. Time went by way too fast!” Katharina
“Our language week in York was truly an incredible and unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, everything exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to have glorious weather throughout the whole week, which made exploring York’s beautiful streets and landmarks even more special. And our teachers went above and beyond, literally going the extra mile, to make sure we had the best time there.”
