Our teaching assistant’s name is Lydia. She is from Chicago in the USA.
Lydia has two siblings: an older sister and an older brother. She also has a niece and a nephew. They are twins and they are very cute.
She lives with five other people in a house in Linz. She loves Austria, especially the mountains and the people. She thinks Austrians are friendly but sometimes they can be direct, too.
She is at our school to support and help our English teachers. Lydia likes the school building and she loves our library. Does she like the pupils, too? Yes, she does. She thinks they are nice and smart.
Lydia doesn’t have a pet, but she has lots of hobbies. She likes to run, read, make art and go to the sauna. She is going to run a half-marathon in Linz on Sunday. Oh wow!
Lydia can’t play American football, but she can play an instrument. What does she play? She plays the cello. Lydia plays with the JKU uni orchestra. They play beautiful music together. They usually rehearse on Mondays.
Lydia likes the colour pink, ice cream, deep dish pizza (this pizza is a Chicago specialty and she thinks it’s very yummy!), turtles, and films such as Pride and Prejudice and Cars.
